"And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it, declares the Lord."

— Ezekiel 37:13-14

Ezekiel 37 Mission: 10 Years of Awakening, Purpose and Impact

A journey of faith from a single encounter to a global movement

2011-2013

Before The Launch: The Birth of A Vision

Every great mission begins in the secret place.

The story of Ezekiel 37 Mission was born on September 24, 2011, in a humble rented room in Fairfax, Virginia. It was there that Dr. Ines Furume had a life-changing encounter with God, one that planted the seed for what would become a movement of spiritual awakening and empowerment.

Before the Mission took shape publicly, God was already at work privately, forming the heart, the vision, and the faith that would soon touch lives around the world.

During this foundational season, Dr. Ines began her missionary journey in the Caribbean, hosting powerful conferences, ministering the Word, and distributing goods to local communities in need. These early outreaches laid the groundwork for what would later become the global call of Ezekiel 37 Mission, a ministry devoted to intimacy with the Holy Spirit, revival, restoration, and outreach to God's people.

2014-2016

The Official Launch: Breathing Life into the Vision

A prophetic mandate comes to life

Dr. Ines' journey has been profoundly shaped by divine revelations and encounters, particularly in 2013, when God began imparting powerful dreams about identity in Christ. During a series of visions, she witnessed people of all ages and backgrounds being filled with the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit, leading them to a deeper understanding of their divine purpose and identity.

In August 2013, while pursuing her studies in Lynchburg, Virginia, Dr. Furume experienced a life-changing moment during a local church service. The Lord spoke directly to her heart, commissioning her to bring hope to the hopeless and restore lives through His grace.

This came into full focus in 2015 while serving in the mission field in Africa. It was there that God directed her to gather a team and establish a ministry to fulfill this divine mandate.

In the Winter of 2015, Ezekiel 37 Mission officially came to life. The ministry was inspired by the prophetic message in Ezekiel 37:13–14, where God raises a vast army from its graves, puts His Spirit within them so they live, and establishes them.

By February 27, 2016, Ezekiel 37 Mission hosted its inaugural conference in downtown Alexandria, VA, marking the beginning of an extraordinary journey. That same year, the Mission held its first evangelistic outreach at the feet of the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C. — a public declaration of faith and revival at the heart of the nation's capital.

2017-2019

Years of Growth and Impact

Building foundations, raising leaders, strengthening structures

As Ezekiel 37 Mission grew, so did its reach. Through retreats, conferences, discipleship programs, and community outreach, Ezekiel 37 Mission expanded its influence both locally and internationally.

These were the years of building foundations, raising leaders, strengthening structures, and restoring broken lives through prayer, teaching, mentorship and the prophetic.

2020-2022

Resilience and Renewal

When the world shifted, the Mission adapted and deepened

When the world shifted during the pandemic, the Mission didn't stop; it adapted and deepened. Online gatherings, prayer chains, and virtual discipleship sessions kept the fire burning.

This was a season of endurance and adaptation, proof that when God breathes life into a vision, no storm can stop it.

2022-Present

A New Chapter: Publications, A Sound of Revival and Global Reach

Becoming a published voice of the Gospel

In 2022, Ezekiel 37 Mission entered a new phase of ministry, becoming a published voice of the Gospel.

Since then, Ezekiel 37 Mission has released multiple books, devotionals, and journals in both English and French, including Dreams Journals, Bible Study Journals, and other inspired writings that empower believers to grow deeper in faith, leadership and purpose.

This publishing milestone reflects Ezekiel 37 Mission's expanding call, not just to gather people but to equip nations through written revelation and practical discipleship tools.

That same year, Ezekiel 37 Mission reached another historic moment by hosting its first-ever live worship recording. This sacred moment captured spontaneous songs of the Spirit, prophetic worship, and deep encounters with the presence of God. It marked a new dimension for Ezekiel 37 Mission, not only proclaiming the Word but releasing Heaven's sound to the nations.

2025

Global Missions: The Nations Initiative

Revival isn't confined to one nation

In 2025, Ezekiel 37 Mission led its first international group of missionaries to Cameroon, an important step in fulfilling its global mandate.

During this mission trip, the team witnessed miraculous healings, deliverances, and the power of the Holy Spirit in action. Legs grew, the sick were healed, salvation by many and lives were transformed.

More than 244 backpacks were distributed to orphans, a water well was built in India to bless a local community, and widows and families received tangible support through ongoing partnerships.

It was a clear reminder that revival isn't confined to one nation; it's a global movement.

This 10-year celebration is more than an event; it's a testimony, a testimony of the wonders of God that changed lives, restored communities, and impacted nations.

Looking Ahead: The Next 10 Years

Vision 2035: "The Awakening Continues"

The journey is still long, but our mission remains clear. The awakening and impact caused by God through Ezekiel 37 Mission are only the beginning.

Building a Mission Center

We envision building a Mission Center that will serve as a hub for training, community outreach, and global discipleship, a place where the breath of God continues to awaken nations and raise an army for Christ, just as promised in Ezekiel 37:13–14.
